Letter from our Director

My Dear Friend,

Life's journey is much the same for each of us. We all have struggles as we attempt to move forward. Our challenges are the ruts and potholes, the obstacles that slow us down, the inclines that deplete our energy. Sometimes we feel we cannot continue. Where did we get off course?

In the busy-ness of our lives we began to identify with worldly, material things, thinking that this made us. We have focused our world, God's creation, upon the lower aspects of self: making selfish choices, not valuing life, investing in false resources instead of upon the law and love of God. Through the misuse and mismanagement of resources inside and out we find ourselves in difficult times.

God constantly nudges giving us a wake-up call. We are being prompted to become aware and respond to this higher calling. How do we respond to this call to change and better manage our resources? Are we aware yet of that resource that has the ability to carry us forward, across the rocky roads and choppy seas of life?

We can learn to unhook from the dramas and miseries; we must examine ourselves to discover untruths that have been commanding us. We can make the choice to move out of crisis. Through giving ourselves over to the Christ and the transformational process of making sacred our lives, we are uplifted to a new level of understanding; to a higher level of consciousness. New vistas and horizons begin to appear and await our coming.

Choosing change
It usually takes hitting rock bottom before we make changes. And even then, some of us do as little as possible - just enough to get by. We can make the choice to change right now. No one else will do it for us - not the government, our job, our spouse, or our money. We must first choose to change - and then do it.

We struggle because we are not fully plugged into Source (God). Think of it this way: If a lamp is plugged in half way there is a short; a disconnection. The lamp fails to light. From this place of low consciousness we are looking at life dimly. A heightening of consciousness comes about when we learn to plug in our lamp to the True Source thus making full connection with that which illumines and sustains our life.

Written in the Holy Bible, Romans 12:2, "Do not imitate the way of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, that you may discern what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God." When we choose to plug into the Infinite Source, transformation and awakening begin to transpire.

Transformation, change, awakening, by whatever name we call it, the process is one of becoming refined. And as one is refined. regeneration occurs. As God refines us we are tested - not to fail and feel defeated once more, but as an opportunity to strengthen and grow. Each person must reflect upon the new level of awareness one has attained and learn how to hold themselves at this higher level of consciousness, not to fall back into old ways, old patterns, old behaviors.

Overcoming separateness
The process of transformation heals the belief that one is separate from others and God. God does not separate from us; we fall into separation from God. God is constantly throwing us a net to pull us back into the Light. When we continue to turn away from that net, we are still listening to and financing the voice of separation.

The belief that all are separate also affects religions, countries, cultures, and neighbors. Holy wars ‘in the name of God’ and ‘you are not the right color’ are a dis-ease that is anchored in separation. It is contagious and spreads through generation after generation festering and wrecking havoc and destruction. The belief in separation must be healed.

The goal of grace
Jesus, at the age of about 12 years old said, “Don’t you know that I must be about my Father’s business?” He was pointing us toward our true calling, our true life work.

We can choose now to unhook from our old ways that bind us and step upon a God-centered path that reveals His magnificence each step we take. And when we choose to walk towards the Almighty Spirit our hearts are ignited, leading us to the transformation that needs to occur in our spirit, soul, and body. The result is the peace within us that comes with regeneration.

Choosing Christ as our vocation we begin an ongoing process of emergence from misunderstanding and disconnect into greater understanding and heightened awareness. Out of the shadows into the Light each of us is reborn. We find ourselves at a new beginning, over and over, as consciousness is expanded, renewed, and matured.

Grace comes as new awareness dawns upon our minds. God showers us with clarification. Soon, we are not spending precious energy being self-absorbed; trying to get our own needs met, but we have grown and begin to realize we are being filled to the brim with vital energy. This abundant goodness overflows and spills onto all that we share our lives with.

Every ingredient for the recipe to make 'life whole' may be found in an intimate relationship with Jesus the Christ. God gives us everything we need to make sacred our lives. He wants us to connect with Him so that He may give us His blessing of an eternal filling.

Accepting the invitation
My invitation to you is to let us begin together our rediscovery of the ‘inner spring;’ this eternal nourishment that quenches and fortifies lives. Say yes to change. Allow God to touch and work in your life. Christ said "I make all things new."

Let's begin together to identify where we got off track and to climb out of the ruts of despair into the limitless love of God. Let's say yes to the great pruning and purging that needs to happen in our inner and outer lives so we can truly live a life we were originally created to live.

I ask you my friend, how may I serve?

In reverence,
