Welcome to The Wisdom Center!

The Wisdom Center is rooted in the beautiful plateau at the foot of Pikes Peak, in east-central Colorado, at the convergence of the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains.

The Wisdom Center is the outgrowth of a lifetime journey for its founder and director, Rev. Brenda Jean Sharp. Its roots are in her own spiritual journey, which spans more than four decades and traces to her own very personal, very pivotal moment of enormous tragedy and heartbreak. Her father’s death in a light-plane crash, in the midst of the rolling grasslands that were his love and his life’s work, sparked her journey of growth towards a higher understanding of life.

Like many seeds carefully planted and lovingly tended, The Wisdom Center has grown beyond those first, fragile, personal tendrils. Today it is a well-spring of spiritual solace and healing, nurturing bodies, emotions, mind, and spirit.

The Wisdom Center embraces the way of life teachings of Jesus the Christ. It nurtures and supports each person as their hearts are ignited and opened by an intimate relationship with the Christ. By entering into communion with and walking the path of Christ, healing occurs as more of the mysteries and wisdom of God are revealed. 

The approach is heart-centered. The Wisdom Center offers; worship services, sacred education, sacred rites, ceremonies, the Christian Sacraments, spiritual practices including meditation and prayer, spiritual healing and pastoral care for individuals, couples, families and children.

All are invited to The Wisdom Center to share in the transformation of spirit.

Our Philosophy

The Wisdom Center is guided by the Universal Presence of Christ. At the heart of The Wisdom Center is the infinitesimal germ of the seed of faith.

Christ is the focal point of all endeavour and the way of spiritual unfoldment. He is the essence of divine truth and reality and belongs to and can be embraced by all of humanity irrespective of nation, race, religion, social or cultural background.

The way of life teachings demonstrated by the enlightened master of God-consciousness, Jesus; the example of His Spirit of sacrifice, renunciation, forgiveness, reverence for all life, unconditional love, the supreme love for God above all else; the magnitude of His service to humanity is still, to this day, being revealed, felt, and realized. 

As each person abides in the consciousness of Christ, unity and healing is fostered. In Christ, we together can renew the face (energy) of the Earth.
